iActive (20M, 30M and 40M) Remote Synchronization & Desynchronization Instruction

iActive (20M, 30M and 40M) Remote Synchronization & Desynchronization Instruction

For iActive Adjustable Base Models with Massager (20M, 30M and 40M) follow the below instruction

Step 1: Place Remote A on Adjustable Base A (Left), place Remote B on Adjustable Base B (Right)

Step 2: Pick up the Remote A, change the position of the Switch to the L (Left) Position. You should see there are 3 options on the switch, L (Left), O (Both) and R (Right).

Step 3: Pair the Remote A with the Adjustable Base A (Left). To make this happen, follow the below Paring Process:
Paring Process
Press and hold the
Head Up and Foot Up buttons simultaneously and keep holding them. After 1 second, press the Reset/Pairing button on the power cord (fingers still pressing on the remote control buttons). If you are hearing beep sounds, it means the paring process is done successfully. You may release your finger from the remote control now.

Step 4: Press ANY button (e.g. Head Up, Foot Up or Head Down, Foot Down) to test the pairing is done successfully. If the process is done correctly, you should see the Adjustable Base A moves as expected

Step 5: Bring the Remote A to another adjustable base (Adjustable Base B (Right))

Step 6: Change the position of the Switch on the Remote A to the R (Right) position

Step 7: Repeat the Paring Process (in Step 3) to pair the Remote A (with Switch Position on R (Right)with the Adjustable Base B (Right) and then test it. Now, the Remote A should works on both adjustable bases.
- When the Switch is on L (Left) position, it controls the Adjustable Base A (Left)
When the Switch is on R (Right) position, it controls the Adjustable Base B (Right)
- When the Switch is on O (Both) position, it controls both bases simultaneously

Step 8: Repeat the below Learning Process 2 timesand make sure the Switch position on the 2 remote controls are set as below configurations respectively

1st time: Remote A Switch is on L (Left), while Remote B Switch is on R (Right)
2nd time: Remote A Switch is on R (Right), while Remote B Switch is on L (Right)

Learning Process
On the Remote B, press the Head Down and Foot Down buttons simultaneously and hold for 5 seconds, you will see the LED torchlight at the back of the remote is illuminated, which means the Remote B is now on the learning mode. Within 10 seconds that the LED torchlight remains illuminating, press the Head Up and Foot Up buttons on the Remote A. If the LED torchlight starts to flash, means the Remote B now successfully studied the Remote A on a particular position.

Step 9: Try changing the Switch positions on both of the remote control, to see when the switch positions are set to L (Left), O (Both) and R (Right), on each individual remote controls, are working as expected

Desynchronization
To desynchronize the Remote A and Remote B, please press and hold the below buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds.

All Positions Up and All Positions Down buttons
(iActive 20M)

Head Up
 and Foot Down buttons
(iActive 30M and iActive 40M)

When you are seeing the LED torchlight on the back of the remote control starts to flash, the desynchronize process is done. Now the Remote A works on Adjustable Base A (Left) and Adjustable Base B (Right), and the O (Both) Switch position still works on both bases, while the Remote B works on none of the bases. To have the 2 remote control separately working on 2 bases, you will need to set the Remote B Switch to the R (Right) position then following Step 3 Paring Process to pair it with the Adjustable Base B (Right). Via this process the Remote B (on Switch position R (Right)) will takes over the control on the Adjustable Base B (Right) so the Remote A will no long controls the Adjustable Base B (Right)
